Complaint Driven Systems

Maintaining government functions and providing services in an equitable manner requires being aware of barriers to services and proactively lowering or removing those barriers.

To identify those barriers, Government entities such as School Districts, must receive complaints related to the services they provide. Filing a complaint should not be viewed as a negative action, or "getting someone in trouble". Without receiving formal complaints from the community Government Entities serve, Systemic Oppression will continue to occur within the system.

It is not your responsibility to determine if something is a Complaint, if it feels wrong, report it. Even if it is not a Complaint that violates Civil Rights, Government Entities will still use those Complaints to better their services.
